\nThe Spirit of Disobedience.<\/STRONG><\/P><\/p>\n“2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course
\nof this world, according to the prince of the power of the
\nair, the spirit<\/STRONG> that now worketh in the children of
\ndisobedience:<\/STRONG>” Ephesians 2:2.<\/FONT><\/TD><\/TR><\/TABLE>

\n<\/P><\/p>\nAre you born of the Spirit? Where is the evidence that you are a “son of the Most High”?<\/P><\/p>\n
\n - “50 For whosoever shall do the will<\/EM> of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother,<\/STRONG><\/FONT> and sister,
\nand mother.” Matthew 12:50.<\/FONT><\/DD><\/p>\n - “2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. <\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments:<\/STRONG> and His commandments are not
\ngrievous.” 1John 5:2, 3.<\/FONT><\/DD>
\n<\/DL><\/p>\nWhere is the Scripture that states that Elohim’s Torah is a yoke of bondage? Answer: Nowhere.
\nJames speaks of the Torah as the “law of liberty.” It was the “law of sin in our members,”
\n(Romans 7:23) our flesh, that was the “yoke of bondage.”<\/P><\/p>\n
\n - “33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye
\nshall be made free? <\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.”<\/STRONG>
\nJohn 8:33, 34.<\/FONT><\/DD>
\n<\/DL><\/p>\nIn your letter, you point out that the Sabbath was the “sign”<\/EM> of the Old Covenant. You fail to
\nrecall what Romans says was the problem with the law of the Old Covenant: the weakness of the
\nflesh:<\/P><\/p>\n
\n - “3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,<\/STRONG> God sending his own Son in the
\nlikeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:<\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
\nRomans 7:3, 4.<\/FONT><\/DD>
\n<\/DL><\/p>\nUnder the Old Covenant, Israel said, “All that YHWH has said we will do” (while yet in their
\nfallen flesh). Under the New Covenant, YHWH says, “All that I have said, I will cause you to

\n“Christ, our Passover” was “sacrificed for us” on the 14th<\/SUP>

\nLiteral Israel was “born” as a nation of firstfruits upon its
\nexodus from Egypt.<\/FONT><\/TD>

\nMessiah (and we who believe on Him, and are hid in Him)
\nwas born from the tomb, the firstfruits of the spiritually
\ndead, on the wave-sheaf day.<\/FONT><\/TD><\/TR>

\nIn Deut. 5:15 (as well as Ex. 20:1, 8-11), Israel is told that
\nthey are to keep the seventh-day Sabbath because<\/STRONG> they had
\nbeen delivered out from Egyptian slavery.<\/FONT><\/TD>

\nAccording to Hebrews 4:9, 10, since Israel had failed to
\nenter by faith<\/EM><\/STRONG><\/FONT><\/EM> into the promised land of rest, believers on
\nthe Messiah of the New Coveant enter into rest and show
\nthat restful faith by Sabbath keeping:<\/FONT><\/TD><\/TR><\/TABLE>

\n - “8 For if Jesus [Joshua] had given them rest, then would he [YHWH through David] not afterward have
\nspoken of another day. <\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 9 There remaineth therefore a rest [Strong’s G4520 sabbatismos, a keeping sabbath]<\/STRONG> to the people of G-d. <\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 10 For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as G-d [did] from His. <\/FONT><\/DD>
\n - 11. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest,<\/STRONG> lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

\n<\/DL><\/p>\nKeeping Sunday is Constantine’s works. Keeping (or attempting to keep) Sabbath without faith
\nin Yahushua and the New Covenant promises <\/STRONG>is your own works. But, keeping Sabbath in
\nfaith in Yahushua ha’Messhiach and the New Covenant promises<\/STRONG> is resting in Yahushua’s
\nre-creative rest. The Sabbath is the sign of our deliverance from slavery to sin and from our sinful

\nexplained that the Hebrew word for “statute,” “chuq,” was translated as “ceremonae” by Jerome. Then St. Thomas Aquinas, in part, correctly showed the divisions
\nof the Torah (as well as the “ten words,” Ten Commandments) into (1) commandments (mitsvot); (2) statutes (chuqqim); and (3) judgments (mishpatim). From
\nthis foundation has come the doctrine that the Sabbath belongs to the “Ceremonial Law.” This is a truth. The Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment does belong to
